The Southwest Council of ELEVATE Orlando is dedicated to providing resources to the staff and students of ELEVATE in our local schools by expanding both the volunteer and donor base in the Dr. Phillips, Bay Hill and Windermere regions of Central Florida. Joan Hutton

 

Joan Hutton and her husband Mark are entrepreneurs with a passion for making a difference in the local community. She is founder and president of Women's Leadership Connection. Originally from Ohio, Joan moved to Orlando in 1986. Until 1990, Joan was in the corporate world in key business planning, management consulting, marketing and career development positions with Darden Restaurants, Deloitte & Touche, and BF Goodrich.

Kim Petitt

Kim has lived in the Southwest Orlando community for 36 years. She has spent her adult years giving back to this community through various leadership positions at local PTA Boards, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Women’s Leadership Connection and now ELEVATE Orlando. She worked as a Certified Public Account for over 30 years, retiring in early 2017 to welcome her first grandchild. Kim has been married to her husband Fred for 36 years and together they have two grown daughters.

Carolyn Dannen: Carolyn Dannen’s heart for helping has benefited many charities in Southwest Orlando for over 30 years. Working through ministries in St Luke’s United Methodist Church, local high schools and other non-profits, Carolyn has left a legacy of discipleship and love on the hearts and minds of thousands of individuals and families.

 

 

 

 

Ann Badger

Ann Badger

Ann is a former Senior Vice President for Harcourt Inc. where she headed up Business Strategy and Development. More recently she formed her own consulting business helping firms entering and growing in the K12 education market. For much of her career, she has focused on the challenges schools face as they transition from print to digital resources and services. She has served as a judge on several industry wide innovation award panels, and on the advisory boards for leading providers of K12 education services. Born in the United Kingdom, Ann moved with her family to Florida in 2001 to head up a new digital learning initiative at Harcourt. As Ann has spent her career in businesses associated with K12 education she has a great affinity with Elevate and its critical mission in our local schools.
